Auction
The Beatles Shop has
been proud to organizeLiverpool’s Annual Beatles & Merseybeat auction
since 1990. The first auction was held just a few meters away from the site of
the original Cavern Club in The Cavern Walks building. Today the auctions are
now held in glorious surroundings of the Paul McCartney Auditorium part of Liverpool
Institute For The Performing Arts or LIPA.
Each year’s auction produces
a wonderful assortment of items from around the world, but being held inLiverpoolit
is of course the local items some owned by original Beatle Fans from the groups
earliest days that often attract the must attention including concert tickets,
programs and concert poster plus of course autographs. The auction attracts a
wide range of bidders from those just staring out collecting with only a few pounds
to spend, to the ardent collector with thousands to spend. We hope to include
in the auction something for everyone’s wallet size or credit card limit.
